Originally from Kentucky, Shane Brown moved to the Houston area in 1994 for a teaching and coaching job and ended up coaching basketball at both the high school and collegiate level for 25 years. Brown currently teaches in Pasadena ISD and is also the public address announcer for the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, along with several sports programs at Rice University. Brown has also filled in as the announcer for the Astros, the Houston Sabercats, and at the University of Houston. 

Prior to moving to Houston, Shane worked radio as an on-air personality. He has been a part of LSN for three years and truly enjoys bringing attention to the efforts of the athletes on the field of competition.
