Don Jones II graduated from Dickinson High School, where he lettered in football and baseball. He went on to play college football for the McMurry Indians in Abilene, Texas, where he would eventually meet the love of his life, Stevie Jones. They have three children: One boy, age 12, and two girls, ages 8 and 5. When not coaching Little League baseball, Jones is an avid golfer, sports handicapper, and a huge fan of Houston sports. This is his 19th year in the booth and his 17th year with the Legacy Sports Network. Jones has called State Championship games at Jerry's World in Arlington, along with the numerous local regional final games at NRG Stadium, The Alamo Dome, and TDECU Stadium. He is currently the voice of Dickinson Gator Football.
